Dr. Harper was born and raised in Kentucky. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky before graduating from the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine. Dr. Harper completed his Residency training and his Fellowship training at the world-famous Bascom Palmer Eye Institute both at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Following his Fellowship training, Dr. Harper received a one-year appointment as Chief Resident and Director of the Ocular Trauma Service by the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the world-famous Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Harper has been credited with numerous publications and presentations related to his vitreoretinal specialty.
Dr. Harper’s hobbies include martial arts, film, and theater. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their young daughters.
